La Esperanza

This farm is a symbol of resilience and hope for coffee farming in Colombia. In 2009, the farm began a transformative journey, marked by generational change and recovery after years of conflict in the region, which had hindered the free practice of coffee cultivation. By 2011, we initiated an ambitious renovation program, planting new varieties to boost both productivity and quality. Two years later, in 2013, we achieved organic certification, a testament to our commitment to sustainable farming practices, with support from small coffee grower associations. Today, we are proud members of the Asoprosierra association, which unites 52 dedicated coffee-growing families. Together, we cultivate high-quality coffee while preserving the environment and uplifting the local community.
